Carroll County says “Hands Off” to Trump and Musk at Saturday Protest
Hundreds of people hoisted signs, chanted and solicited honks from passing traffic on Westminster’s Main Street Saturday for the local contribution to the nationwide “Hands Off” protest, happening across the country.
Demonstrators gathered to protest what they called overreaches from President Donald Trump and his administration, said Jessica Baird, 36, of Sykesville. Baird founded Carroll County’s chapter of Indivisible, a national group that formed in the wake of the 2024 election, which aims to strengthen American democracy and oppose Trump.
